Not too put words in WeeWee's mouth, but I'd venture a guess most of us would be more than willing to work something out as long as the other party was communicating and being honest. There's no reason the guy couldn't just give the freakin reel back.
I happened to sell a reel to a friend last fall...who guess what...still owes me the 120 bucks. In this case he was honest and told me of his money problems so I agreed to wait till spring. Good thing I know where he fishes
