it'll be shown again on sept 19th on espn. 1190 lbs. thats huge.

Boat from Sandwich got it. Got into port 6 min. late so he couldn't enter it. Caught 100 miles off shore I heard. No photos but on news tonite. Probably see it at 11. Paul

I saw it on the news. that was a big , mean looking sucker. I'm glad i never ran into something like that while diving!!

i omnce saw what i beleived was a big tiger shark once while sailing through the race on my way to newport from Guilford CT. It looked hurt as it was swimming sluggishly near the surface in that strong current area. hurt or not , I made sure to stay seated in the cockpit and off the deck for about 10 miles away!!

The crew was not able to enter into the tournament because being 6 min. late but they sure have the bragging rights.
