happened to an uncle of mine. got those e-mails and gave his info again and wham, 3 grand worth of motorcycle stuff on his credit card. idiot had the stufff all sent to his own house up in n.h. and the cops bagged him. last month ebay sent me some e-mails saying that they think someone got into my account. they were right, someone was trying to sell a tractor in my name. they cancelled the auction and nearly my account. i had to talk online with someone from ebay to figure it out. i asked how this could happen and they said that there are programs that follow my online patterns and keystrokes. basically, that it wasn't their fault and they are totally secure. i'm thinking of getting out all together, i'll just use a friend's account if i ever bid on a car again. i really can't stand these types of people!
