basswipe is correct.

Ocean XCR Gore-Tex will outlive any rubberized crap you can buy.
And it *gasp* breathes!

They do make some SERIOUS stuff for the offshore market. Being in the same building as Team1 Newport I've taken a look at almost everything sailboaters have from a fisherman's perspective. If it wasn't so expenisve I'd probably experiment more...

I've got both a set of lloyd ocean racer and gill key west, both are gore-tex and while the pricetag is as much as some people spend on all their fishing gear, both sets will last ~5-10 years (esp. the ocean racer stuff... it dosen't see much use, but when it does, its ABSOLUTELY necessary)

The lloyd dinghy smock w/ the watertight seals is just as rugged as the aquaskins top.

Team1's prices are definitely a little steep, easier to pick stuff like that up at the boat show or out of Defender during the (northern hemisphere) off season.

Personally I am a Musto guy for my foulies. I buy almost everything online.

Great prices on the net at APS. Check the sale rack for last years gear and get some insane deals. For example, if you need a XXL dry suit, check out this insane deal. http://www.apsltd.com/Tree/d75000/e72079.asp

That is almost what I paid for my waiders.

I also have gotten good deals at layline.com as well.

I'm not affiliated with either of these companies.
