Young Squeteague????
I caught some Blues in RI last fall that were yakking up 4" Squet.

That was my first thought. Couldn't see any gold fins though, and the lack of spots other than a few near the tail. |

Juvie weak/squet.
Out here, they drive them right onto the beach. Seen a lot of them lying around on the rocks/sand aftert the bass drive them.

Looks like a white perch to me . . . I have a house on Perch Pond in Falmouth and I've seen schoolies mauling these things.
