I use a 1201L in spinning for throwing everything from
1-3/4 oz. up to 3 oz plugs and eels. I like its parabolic type qualities that aid in loading to working plugs. Great rod .
I like the Lami's that I also have the 1201M as a blank to be wrapped either conventional (questionable) or spinning for the bigger girls and rough water but I can't comment on experience.
