good advice already given on the blanks mentioned. if you are after a 10' blank/rod and you throw mostly surface plugs, especially pencils, the sb1213m(glass) or gsb1201m(graph) are great choices. the 1205 is slightly faster action and not the best all around pencil rod. many love the gsb1321m (11', 1' longer than 1201m on same graph material) for pencils and the xra1322 would be a choice as well. it's also a matter of how much do you want to spend? you dont want a faster action rod for pencils, which the 1208/1209 would be.
