I just finished "The Terrible Hours" by Peter Maas. It is about the recovery of a sunken sub just before WW2. More importantly it is about a man named Swede Monson. He devised just about all of the underwater recovery systems and was the guy who made the formulas for breathing at great depths and avoiding the bends. A little textbooky, But, you won't be able to put it down during the first half.,
