I think he's actually a pretty good rythmn guitarist and at times has had great backing bands, most of the key parts of the Band being one of them.

Definitely an unreliable performer though, I've seen both incredible shows as well as boring, incoherent ones...

I prefer Derek and the Dominoes' version of Little Wing to Hendrix's.

Sinatra's genius was in phrasing, articulation and clarity of tone. He was to the human voice what Doc Severinsen is to the trumpet. Who I never really "got" was Dean Martin

Foo Fighters covering Floyds "Have a Cigar" gets my vote, soooooo good. Grohl rocks!!!

Another good cover album is "Deadicated" with various artists doing different GD songs -- Suzanne Vega-Cassidy, Burning Spear-Prophet, Elvis Costello- Ship of Fools are some

I dont know, I like the Dub Side, especially Us & Them

Listened to Dub side this A.M. with 18 month old groovin'.I swear U-roy is part of the vocals.For good dub music check out any Scientist.Any live Bunny Wailer will get you movin,older the better but some of the newer bootlegs will do.Blackheart ManHard to findbtu worth it is his Live from 1983.Sly Dunbar;Simply Sly Man or Sly-go_ville both are deep roots LP's
