Stan told me the fatter tailed ones with less of a slope were made for the the guys trolling. Said the added wood gave it a more snake like swim when trolled.

I was think the same thing tailweights are for trollers the ones i have messed with they do the best.

When Numbskull said last week the 40 had the weight in the tail. I though to myself he's got a troller.The ones i make got to be right around 3 onces After that they start to get sluggish.u put that slugg in the ass an there's no way its pullin it.Unless u got some good surf.Then u probably got wind in ur face which would make the tailweighted plug a good choice as it would cast well an hold well through a wave.
