I usually have many knifes on the boat , but when at the Ditch or local shores my pliers and a 3" sharp shank in the bag ,but my go to wepon is my ICE PICK silent and deadly, fishing the Ditch in the middle of the night is kind of freaky all depends where you are but I've run into some strange people that just don't understand when I say get the F%(K away from me I'm fishing.
Ever had that guy from the dark say hey can I watch you for a while
or @ 2am HI what ya doin looking for some company?

I prefer ranged weapons to close quarters..............seriously, what's the knife used for? I'd stab myself in the dark?

Leatherman Wave & Buck 114 Ranger for fresh.
Gerber pliers & serrated edge Gator for salt.

And the absolute best thing to get rid of any kind of human intrusion? Parodis.
