as a lifelong boater i have to say, #^^^^^^&, that is a really bad decision. The growth is so bad in the bay. If you let it sit even for a week extra you get barnacles, shells, all this nasty sh*t on there. i get some barnacles even with bottom paint.
BESIDES THAT>you are going to leave your boat soaking and prone to osmotic blisters. seal it up an bottom paint, its the only choice, imho...

Billy;
You should be all set, however keep a close eye on it...
we dropped the r/v in the bay last june and had a scum line in about a week.
Just wash it well!

Just do a high speed beaching once a week!! may want to lift the motor before you hit. I've left my boat in the water for a few weeks (mooring) with nothing but a specific bottom wax with no problems, I did use the boat 5 times a weeks during that time and I'm sure that the constant high speed runs are what prevented growth. There is no way I would go more than a month without paint, even a month is pushing it depending on how your water is.

You'll be completely fine leaving it in for 3 weeks especially if it's being used. You may develop a yellow scum line, if it doesn't come off easily with a brush, hit it with on-off and it will come clean immediately.
