Why would that reel be any worse for backlashes than any other 6500 size ABU?

I was NOT refuring to the ABU REEL itself. I was refuring to ME using one of those reels. I can only use a Spinning Reel.

The Fenwick Salt Sticks are nice -- I picked up a 7' baitcasting rod ffor $100 last year and it works well for me. I really like it.
