Broke her in today. Its funny. Putting people on fish is just about as nice as catching them yourself. Don't get me wrong, i caught a few, but it is a nice feeling... Here is my friend alex with a fine specimine from today in narragansett bay.....

Not to go off topic or anything, but can someone explain to me the rod in the mouth thing with fly fisherman. I almost don't want to know, but I see it all the time.  I don't get it.

I guess it is all about showing off how you caught the fish. I am not a fly guy, so this is just what i assume, but from what I have seen, it is no easy feat to land a fish that size on a 6wt flyrod like that. So I guess you want to show off the fact you did it in the pic, but you need both hands to hold the fish, so that is the only way... |
