As you Striprman, what do you mean,"wet line before 1st cast"?
What should I do pi$$ on it?
With some mono's if u don't wet them they will give u a burn on the cast.never really bothered me much.I guess if u have delicate hands it might.U can also get around this by lightly thumby the side of the spool instead of the line itself.
