This brings up another issue. If it's guaranteed, what's the point of fishing for it? The reason a big fish is desired is because it is rare. Once it's guaranteed it is no longer desireable for me.
If I wanted guaranteed fish I'd go to the fish market.

Hmmm..
How about, a spot that is guaranteed to hold 50lb fish at some point during the season. A specific 20' by 20' hole, that has given up LARGE consistantly every season over the past 20 years. All you have to do is be there when she is.
How hard would you fish in a year?

Krispy, Im no sharpie, but I know of a few spots like that. I fish them hard and spend a lot of time there, but its all matter of timing.  |

Well its not necessarily guaranteed, you just need to know when and how to fish the spot.  |
