They're here: Part Two

They're getting bigger. 44 pounds on a Boga at time of catch. Probably 42 or so when it gets officially weighed in shortly.

For those who recognize the spot in the photo, the spot is not the spot it was caught and the photo was taken 12 hours later. Go get 'em! Big bass are out there.

Why doesn't Mike ever smile? You'd think with all these big fish he'd be more happy.

Good health and family

He's usually not smiling because he's working so hard to keep that fish in the air while I snap pictures.

In the close up shot, it looks more like a beachmaster danny in herring than a Tattoo to me. I thought Tat swimmer in the first shot, but I would say it's a BM danny in the 2nd picture. It doesn't mean that is what he caught it on though...

When did they start putting glass eyes on Beachmasters

Nice fish Mike. Maybe hes not smiling cause the minute it took to take that pic he could probably have nailed another one.

I know of that fish too ,the guy that caught it told me how he gaffed it in the right side in the belly because he was alone in his boat .That would have made a nice wall mount if not for that.

Just a stone's throw away from where Mike got his, the Toilet Bowl coughed up an almost unhealthy looking 43" bass a few days later as well. Serious girth, a lot like Mike's which was about a pound an inch. It was released back into the suds so no weight, but it was big. It was a good week for big fish for those who were out fishing for them.
