Whole foods>>>>>prices
I can't be sure because I didn't open the hot dog role bag, but my wife seemed to think that there was only five rolls in the bag, which means as oppsed to going up on the price in an up front manner they are just selling you five rolls for the price of six. We buy most of our food there, no lobsta's, and less and less red meat.

Their dry aged beef is a pretty good deal, nearly as good as prime for 1/3 of the cost. I'd spend a fortune if I shopped there all the time, it's bad enough as it is...
Some of the local grocers are really going nutz on prices. Clements in Portsmouth sells freaking shallots for a buck EACH!
If I'm cooking for a dinner party sometimes I have to hit three stores to get exactly what I'm after...drives me nutz.

You think I'd trust Skippy to select my produce?
Ask him for sweet potatoes and I'd end up with a few russets and a half eaten box of Splenda.

I always feel guilty when I boil lobsters. Feeling guilty makes me hungry so I boil some more!! Its a vicious cycle....
