Try a cedar plug (color: black) with a single feathered hook tied with saddle hackle (color: black) or a cedar plug (color: black) with a single 6/0 bare hook on which you've threaded a 4-inch Slug-Go or a 4-inch Senko Worm (color: black). Cedar plugs with feathered hooks outfish most soft plastics lures and black cedar plugs with black trailers outfish even black 9-inch Slug-Go's.
Bunker take on a gold color in low light conditions like dawn and dusk , like a...ohh.. I dunno maybe a gold butterfish.
