There was a big article in On The Water less than a year ago with pictures, technique, and debate of it's ethics. I say if it catches God Bless! Definately need a boat though there in lies the problem.

The article was aimed at giving both sides and as has been said atm least once in thsi thread...here are many variations and personal ethics are a key in this debate.

Also, remember when you talk about banning this technique the language will ahve to be written to encorporate certain facets that will most definately effect other fishing techniques. Do you put a rubber core in the mouth of an eel, fish a rigged ballyhoo. Prohibition is not the answer. Education is.
