Did u have this problem all a long oir did it develope over time.If so why.Is it because u use the GT spool.?

Mine does the same thing--about a 1/16", maybe even 1/32", gap at the bottom. It hasn't caused me any problems yet.

I think we both have the standard 6000, not the GT.

Ran into more Saltiga problems on the 'Hunk this past weekend. Had to set her aside and fall back on the VS... again. Going to make some calls to get it fixed tonight. After setting up hard, the reel now sticks at the top and bottom of the spool cycle. It's not a problem when reeling something fast like a pencil popper, but murder when slow needleing.
