funny thing ..tramadol is a pain killer...
but it doesn't act like a narcotic does. (correction) i'm still learning.

first time (last april was an overnight affair) i had no idea what it was
this time it was a week long battle....

You got that right about the collapsing funnel, total pain in the @$$.

Do what I did after about 1 hour of using the funnel, throw it away and get a clear bottle so you can see anything inside. Just rinse out after use and your good to go, also no mess using a bottle compared to the screen.

With the bottle you not only save the stone(s) but you also have a urine sample ready for the lab techs.

Chocolate is definately a no no as well as soda, but not off the list for life, just use it in moderation.
