The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

We'll miss your monthly report but look forward to your feature articles. Thanks for all your help and inspiration. Good luck to the new guy, I hope we can get the feds to do a study on those damn seals soon, I'll kill one in your honor next time out

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

you KNOW this saddens me and will be missed. Guess I will have to start reading my issues from front to back instead of back to front now....(I am going through withdrawls already this month by the way....)
Please remember those of us who are "junkies" for your tales and wisdom of those mystical beaches when writing those feature articles!!!!!
Excuse me I need to go mourn now.....

Jenn, the mysticism will be more profound and I dedicate my first feature of the new year to you! It's a tale of a famous old time surfman who is my hero and who knew the beach more intimately than any other I know, someone who was driven to fish and who was an eccentric who savored star lit skies, the open beach and fished mostly alone and set a standard that all who came after him and tried to emulate him could never achieve. He was the best at what he did and set the bar that no one has since been able to achieve. A cold winter nights read that hopefully will draw you back to the place you love so well and will set the dreams of all of us who love it so much as we settle in for that "long winter's nap".

Why even try.........

Have not read the magizine in a while, but you always put out a good read. Change is good, and good for you... time to broaden the horizons with your prose, even as you continue there as a feature writer.. other oppurtunities are out there.. just like fishing.. persue all venues..
Good luck to the new fellow.... and I hope he is as truthfull, and cautious in his reports, as you were....and Thank You for that!
Now.. don't go the way of your predecessor.. ...
