And without historical context they would be pretty meaningless.

Bin Laden doesn't hate Americans for some silly or religious reason like our freedoms etc... His anger is because of how he percieves our policy negatively impacts the Islamic world.

If not for religious reasons then why is Islam cited in every single communication from Bin Laden and every other Islamic Terrorist? You actually believe its clear logic that drives him? Sorry we dont buy it.

Because that's how religious Islamic people communicate, It's part of the culture.

Bin Laden's reasoning is very clear, he's not crazy. This is an intellectual cop out.

I had a hornets nest under my pool cabana eaves. I dont know why they chose to build there, but I killed them and they are gone. If they come back I will kill them again.

Given the nature of the problem this poses quite a problem.

Trying to kill terrorists in a direct manner has proven to simply produce more net terrorists.

Terrorisim is empowered by the mainstream, and there lies the solution.
