Great Bay is a nice marina and very protected, but in my mind it makes for a long ride down the Picataqua to any of the off-shore spots for cod or tuna.
The trip to Halfway Hump and back would be an all day affair. You're probably better off running to some of the spots east of Boon Island.

may 1st. I was just using google earth and a 30 mile radius gets us just to jefferies ledge. not too bad, should just be a little over an hour to get there. my boat goes about 25 kts in cruise, not toooooo bad, but not as close as I was used to in gloucester.
