Strange lookin for sure! John....what is a fishercat and are they indiginous to this area? I have seen alot of animals but not like this one!

Very cool animal. There are a lot of them in the central MA area and their range continues to expand. I believe they are mostly nocturnal. but I have seen them around my house a few times in the day. Here is some info from the MassWildlife: http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/dfw_fisher.htm

Bingo! I bet that's what it is... that or a mink. Seen both of those around central Mass in my old stomping grounds... Although I'm not sure a mink can climb a tree. I bet it's a fisher though... pretty cool
