I really don't like any of the mono out there today. After using copolymers, I'm spoiled. I like the limpness of it. I'm going as high as 20# with it.

Raven I use #16 BW on my boat spinners with a # 25 leader (QUATRO),
for jigging #30 BW
nice abrasion resistence and it's IFGA tested the boys down south swear by it both HI-SEAS Blackwidow & Quatro mono

I've always used Trilene XL 17lb. test for surfcasting mono, switched to Fireline. 20lb. on light rod, 30lb. on my open-water setup. This year, though, I may try Ande Backcountry. I've heard lots about it's castability and abrasion-resistance. Usually, these two qualities tend to cancel each other out.
