I would go outta green harbor and fish high pines, I have done very well there at the end of march early april, so my guess is they are there now.

Ummmm this is interesting, Ive never caught Cod intentionally. With that said any special lures, jigs, etc? I was going to take my J16 out in Duxbury Bay for a shake down but dropping in Green Harbor and heading down to High Pines and dropping a line sounds better. We'll see how the weather is.

we always use cod jigs  or clams.... or both.... isn't there a cod jig thread somewhere?

A 6oz crippled herring should do ya good. Thats all you will need in that water. You can jig with one rod and have a clam rig on the bottom with the other.
