I'm surprised to see no weight in the belly of the one without the tail weight... probably very rolly no? With that snow plow of a lip on there

no more roll then any other plug of that type..if you noticed,,Bob started to turn the edges of the lips up...swims very tite. plugs with the lead in the tail swim with very little tail movement compaired to the plug without lead that has a wide tail wiggle.

BOAT fish do count.

I have noticed the "Scoop" lips... Still I like them with the belly weight.. But I'll try one without again to see the difference.

I've seen an early Atom with a belly weight, but I think Bob only did it on light blanks to bring the weight up to spec, since the belly weighted one I've seen weighs the same as the unweighted ones I have.
