Maybe they'll tie it all together over the last remaining episodes. But, I noticed this trend, too. Something happens towards the end of the show (Paulie beating up the kid rower last year being one of many examples), and you expect the other shoe to drop in an upcoming episode, and it's like the first event was just a throw-away that never happened.

No repercussions from Christopher's drug relapse last season or his scooping the boss on the realtor chick.

The Canuck grabbing Bobby's shirt is likely to be more of the same. Something that everyone thought meant something to come, but likely, just a throw-away event.
