probaly will be a spin off or new series..Sopranos II...or something...it looks like it is being set up now with A.J in the drivers seat ( and psychiatrists chair )...and the junior hoodlums in the background..
Too much money to be had to let it all go....

Rumor has it that the "sequel" will actually be a "pre-quel" ala Star Wars. Going back to Tony's formative years in the Mob. New cast, obviously. And any real sequel would probably have an elder Tony (not played by Gandolfini) living out his days in Arizona like Joe Bananas. If Gandolfini has such a clause in his contract, I would think it would stipulate that they can't bring him back to play Tony. There's just too much money to be made down the road for HBO productions to kill Tony off.
I can't see the remaining crew taking a run at Tony for Phil. Paulie, Sil and Bobby are just too loyal. Chris was the obvious choice and now he's out of the picture. |
