Nice finger to have a boo-boo. Hope it won't affect fishing. I broke my rod hand baby finger knuckle, about 8 weeks, still hurts to work it alot. Good luck with recovery.

I would have just 1 word for that bird...PULL!!... ( insert sound of shotgun here )

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

Take the cage over to the grille. "Bird, you ain't nothing but an undersized chicken" Turn it on. Bring the cage closer. He'll get the message....

Raven, we have a severa macaw (not a hand fed)that has gotten everyone in the family. It is still alive only because if I was kept in a cage I'd be dangerous too. It is the wifes bird, she has had it about 25 years, but I am the only one that can handle it now. so believe me when I say I FEEL YOUR PAIN or have felt it anyways.

can't wait

for the friggan tree's to leaf out....

because this dammed parrot has been trained to live outside
during the day.... all day... returning at dusk....

he'll do some screamin jet fly bys when he's ready to come in...

then he'll fly to ya in the opened upstairs window
and his disposition improves greatly....i can assure you.

funny you mention it.... cuz one of his non expletive names is

chicken... lol

one forth of july he was just outside the back door
screaming his lungs inside- out for no
apparent reason just to be a total JERK! i thought...
as there were no crows flying over head ,or turkey vultures
or red tail hawks... nothin... so i jumped out the back door
and blasted the 20 guage not quite in his direction....
just to let him know....
don't push it buddy.... or i'll shoot ya.

sorta freaked out my one neighbor ....but thats ok..

he got the message ..... and shut the hell up...
