When I was in a week and a half ago and shook hands with him like I always do I had no idea. He never said a thing. What a brave guy. I thought the world of him ever since we fished the vineyard together several years ago fishing out of the same house during the derby. I will miss Vinny.

Oh my God. I got to know Vinny well over the last year and a half and consider him a good friend. I knew about his cancer, but I had no idea he was even terminal, let alone that he'd pass so quickly.

Guys, don't let a day go past without showing your love for family and friends. Tomorrow is promised to no one and you never know if this will be the last time you ever see someone you care about.
