right on. went out yesterday and was usin dime size pieces, that way a nibble almost guarantees its a hook up.

Squid as stated above, small hooks, Live line one with the trebel.
And if you really want the kids to go nuts with them, throw a can of cat food over the side when you know you are over them!!

SCUP = BONEY but TASTY I steak then and grill'm
great action for kids and like Maco Joe said chum Cat food'/,
Scup on a very light spin set up or one of those KIDDY set up's you think U got a whale
2 dropper loops 3/0 hooks weight to hold bottom and your having fun OH yea Small Squid pieces watch out for the spiny fins
