Lou, I am getting my outfit from Ronnie. He's got some real nice rods in the shop now. I'm going with no roller tip and spacing the wire with Dacron at 100', 200' and 300'. That way I'll be jigging on the Dacron(at the tip) not the wire. Thats the way most charter boats set up the rods so I figure if it works for them it'll work for me. If you want some experience jigging, grab 5 friends and take a quality charter to BI, you'll learn the technique real quick. I usually go out a couple times a year and its a lotta fun once you get it down. Plus you get to see how they work the Ledge
