I used to be a plumber.Guy's down at Watch Hill called me "joe the plumber"as did my customers when I was in buisness.

When I originally started checking out striped-bass sites right after John started this one, I was trying to come up with my screen name. One of the names of a guy who was (and I suspect still is) a successful fisherman who posted a fair bit, mostly on another site, was CowHunter. Since I was always looking for the next blitz, I changed Cow to Blitz and Hunter to Seeker and that was it.

Come to find later on that BigFish liked it...but in reality I kind of stole the idea to start with!

Got the handle almost 40 years ago, I was on a job running a 988 at the time that thing was a monster.
One of the guys started calling me bigcat, and the name stuck
