Got the nickname after a wild bar fight in college. My friends said I waded into it like John Wayne...the original "Duke". 41 was how old I was when I joined the site. I am 46 now. yikes!!

Sherlock Holmes arch enemy. Gym teacher in Jr. High started it and it stuck, plus it makes me sound smart.

Grew up fishing on the back beaches of Cape Cod. I rarely, if ever, fish out there any more though. Been thinking of changing my screen name to Rock Head.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

I couldn't figure out how to register as a member, so I asked my brother to do it for me. Rappin Mikey was the name he registered me with because I grabbed the microphone and started rappin at my first TFCTFN.

A nickname a fishing buddy gave me when all I was "reaping" was "keepers" for a week straight. If it was 2 weeks later my name would have been "ISUK@FISHIN" since I went on the schnide for a few weeks and couldnt buy a keeper.

I got a reputation for pushing hard to gain an upper hand under the cover of darkness during previous lives in service and racing boats off shore. Dawn always promised to reveal the damage we had done while others slept, or let up. Hence the name. Of course, my night vision is not nearly what it once was.....nor is the amount of time I now spend fishing at night...

Saltheart is the name of a character in the book series titled The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Saltheart was a giant , named that because he had great love for the Sea.

I had a swan attack me from behind while lmb fishing in my small boat. I cranked up the trolling motor and grabbed an oar to hold off the swan, not paying attention to where the boat was headed I crashed the shore full steam ahead, flipped over the bow and landed in some pretty nasty mud. As for my screen name,i'm a water watcher.
