Just got in from work. My usual 12 minute communte was over an hour. My GF's 25 minute ride is going on 2 hours, and she hasn't even passed my work yet. WTF!?!?!? Why do people forget how to drive EVERY year?

Hearing all the callers on the radio bichin' about no plows on the road. When half of the businesses and all of the schools let everyone out on the road at the same time the plows can't GET anywhere because everyone is trying to beat the plows home
Then the people racing on to the highways with covered windshields needing to stop on the freakin' highway to clear their wipers
I love 4WD

John, there were plenty of plows on our highways. It was the morons stopping in the slow lane like it was a parking lot brushing off their cars that was the problem. They seriously had a bunch of plows all backed up thus stopping everyone else.

I agree - that was what I was seeing but I'd hear people squawking on the radio "WTH are the plows????"

The majority of the "idiots" on the road during this type of weather usually have NO IDEA how to drive in the snow.
They drive with it's race time in Loudon, NH and they're in the pole position.
If it isn't the speeders, it's the "whoa-nellies" that drive EVERY ROAD at 20 mph regardless of whether it's plowed or not.
I feel sorry for any idiot that decides to tailgate me on the way home.
I'm not a "road rage" driver, but if you're showing your lack of driving intelligence, you can expect me to call you out on it.
I bet it's all part of the lack of sufficient driving instructions that newer drivers receive. You know, learn how to pass the test, not the true rules of the road!

If anyone was traveling Rte 2 SB around 1:30pm near BEst Buy (waw-wick).....I was the guy who pushed the SAME brand new Caddilac 4 different times. This poor woman lost control of this beautiful caddie and couldn't figure out how to turn the wheel in order for it to stop tail-spinning. I helped her gain control of the car...but by the time I reached my vehicle, she was slippin sideways again. Got out another 3 times to push her as she was always in front of me
It's a sad world we live in. On my third attempt, someone finally got out and said they couldn't bear to watch me push the car all by myself AGAIN...especially when it's all uphill.
After reaching WEst Waw-wicks' Main STreet, it took me 4.5 hours to get back to SWansea.....
|
... it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

my normal commute is 1 hr, yesterday it took me 1 hr - gotta love the train. My sister was stuck on 128 in burlington. The car in front of her broke down and once she stopped, she couldn't get moving again. Her boyfriend borrowed a truck and drove down and got her out. They gave the other girl a ride and left the broken down car. The police were telling people to just leave their cars on the highway, they'd be towed later.
