Somebody with NESN seems to think he's funny. Prolly never feehsed a day in their pencil-pushing, numbers-crunching, pathetic, corporate life!!! I'd out-fish that BEETCH from the shores of our city ressies, and he can have a boat, a crew, and all of the teeny fish he wants ~~~while i'll land some reel monstahs and carefully release them to live to fight another day. What a maroon!!!!
The worst is how he almost jumps out of the boat when he hooks into an avg smallie or largie.

That last statement was unnescesary, even for the likes of Charlie Moore. When I think it has gone over the line you know it's bad but that was really bad. Leave the man's wife out of it.

Reason: I took out the part about the wife for him Flap :rollem: that was bad

I could easily join in the Charlie-bashing and while I agree his show is a real joke that few real fishermen waste their time watching- I must ask- Who here would not like to have that gig? The guy gets to fish and entertain for a living and often ith local sports celebs. I think I am more envious than anything else...

He comes across like an A1 arse, and the show does suck - it's ALL about him and not fishing or the sport of fishing.
BUT, reality TV is the gig - how many reality show's are really any "good"? Millions of people want to watch shows like the Mad Fisherman, so advertisers will pay the $$$$$, and he will get the $$$$. ( but, as said above, it is one of those where you might wish it was you!!!)

My kids enjoy watching him. They think he's crazy.
He needs to stop making shows of him just reeling in fish and talking like he injected a gallon of espresso like Clemens with B-12. He offers little advice about equipment, how to use it and where. Just him y#^^^^^&g it up with Lenny Clarke, or towing Mitt Romney on skis.
I wish I were as successful as him though. What a gig! I don't think I could fish with him for any length of time before wanting to throw him over board though.

If you look at him from the perspective of a sportsman, he's annoying as hell. But if look at him from the perspective of "let's make a successful fishing show," the guy's brilliant.

I didn't know he was still on television. I wish I could get paid half of what he does for being a "professional goof". I'm not as good as he is at it, but I could practice acting like an idiot and get better if the money was right.

Absolutely. I wish I could do what he does and get paid 600k for it. Do I detect a little jealousy here?
It's entertainment people. If you want to see some really bad outdoors programing watch the Sportsman's Channel. Some of those programs are atrocious.
I would rather watch Mr. Moore than "Crappie Masters".
It sucks about Mad Fish b ut itsn't that his production companies name?
It's business, nothing personal. Kinda like the Mafia whacking someone.
He sucks but he is entertaining to a lot of people.

It's not bad enough that the rest of the country hates us 'cause our teams are so good but we also have a regional guy who gives them a legitimate reason to despise us for being the home of the most obnoxius, self absorbed, untalented a$$hole on earth and the biggest obsenity in the whole fishing community

He bought the wife some bolt-on accessories though
I always miss the juicy stuff. And if you don't like the racy stuff it was Charlie Moore who hooked and yanked off his wife's bikini top in thier pool, during a commercial for the show. He is a putz, but he is a clever putz.

He also has a show on ESPN2. Where a regular "amatuer" fisherman challenges him. So figure in that salary too. Guy is making some bank. He's annoying but I bet his bank account isn't.

I was at a restaurant that Charlie Moore was dining in a couple of years ago. The manager comped the meal for him and his guests and then he left without leaving a tip for the server. A perfect example of his character. F Charlie Moore!

He is probably one of the most obnoxious individuals I have ever had the misfortune of being exposed to. I plan to continue ignoring his show as I have been doing from day one and hopefully his viewers will come to their senses.
