Much of the problem is that there are only so many spots, if you fish enough, you are bound to fish on someone else's...so called spot. First of..No one owns a SPOT...This land is OUR land, we all have the right to fish where ever we want to.. I fish hundreds of different spots and have been for probably 25 years, boat and shore..Are they all my SPOTS..NO!...Do I get pissed when I see someone else fishing it...Not really..I may just pass it up and come back to it when it's less crowded..Bruce, the spot I think you speak of (haven't seen the show yet) is a spot I fished 20 years ago..Do I claim it to be my spot? NO, I'm sure many others have fished it way b4 I did. Who cares who is fishing what spot, fish have fins...It's more so about the fisherman who can trick the fish, not so much the SPOT. I got over the Spot thing along time ago, now I just like to respect another's space and hope everyone does the same for me. Just my opinion on the whole Spot thing.
