Good for him. I watched the video and he seemed like a nice guy. And the fish looked bigger in the video than in the still photos.

58lbs 13 oz from shore and 73 from a boat in the last 2 years isn't so bad

On a slightly different note, about ten years ago the story was in the Cape Cod Times about a tourist, in August, who buys a bag of sandeels, gets directions to the nearest outer Cape swimming beach and gets his wife to drop him off. Well, he hooks, and lands a 60 pound bass. Calls his wife to pick him up and weighs in at the same bait shop. Did I forget to mention it was a midday fish?
