Dawg-I asked just in case someone runs out of eels or the shops dry up (late in season).

YUP! That happened to me more than once last year.
The old couldn't get to the shop before it closes trick.

My first choice for an artie has to be the 9" Slug provided, 1) good conditions, 2) NO F'n blues in the neighborhood.

But if the new 12" is 3 oz. as stated...that increases it's capabilities in wind...
