thanks, I have the confidence to go forth now...my wife just shrugged and said.. huh, it looks like a fish. I'm trying to work from photos that I find online of various striper snacks, got any suggestions for mackerel stripes?? I think I'm going to try to burn a stencil...

here's what I was looking at, I actually thought about drilling tiny holes behind each gill and adding some feathers for gills, wasn't sure if it was very practical, I wanted to keep a traditional bullet shape for a needlefish but get the eel characteristics too, the tail is flattened a bit and there's a ridge running down the back, I just cut wood for three different sizes so I can scale it down a bit...I hope that subsequent models will go quicker!?!?
