Sure you could call and say you cant make it but then its an hour of being harassed about all the fun you'll miss and how you really should go, a month of everyone else asking if your going and then freaking out because you tell them your not, THEN after its all said and done everyone that went tells you in detail about the whole damn thing anyway!!!!!

Being a proponent of Siddhartha, as you obviously are, why don't you do what the guys do under similar circumstnces: find a clean or at holeless t-shirt, an appropriate pair of denims, put some deoderant on, comb your hair and head to Hooter's. Once there look around and say, "is this as good as it gets or what?" And then kick back.
