I don't really follow fluke fishing that closely, but if the biomass is high, why are the restricting the season? Is it the average size of the fish?
I only fluke fished once last season and got my limit, and probably only 1 or 2 were shorts that had to be released. What gives?
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
The more they predict doom & gloom the better the flukin' gets. Whatever science they are using has got to be flawed. This subject hits close to home with me but why get cranked up when there's nothing I can do about it.
