I would say the key word would be Standing.....so lets say STANDING on the EARTH and call it a day.

and any further interpretation of the rules can always be brought up to the board for further discussion and/or clarification.

there is also a 3rd option.....if your fish doesn't fall in either category you get a handshake and a "Nice Fish"....just no award

Oh the technicalities of the terminologies of fishing. ....and to think, fishing USED TO BE so simple.

What class does spear-fishing fall into....? Aqua-fishing? which is neither shore fishing/boat fishing/skishing/oh boy....what a tangled web we weave -

ok, how about if one is standing in the surf zone, but deep wading and a large wave lifts your feet off the bottom and at that exact moment, you hook a fish. Is that considered a shore fish???
