I usually just throw the crappiest lure in my bag at them, but I have even gone so far as attaching a hook to michelob light can with a snap, and that had no problem fooling an eight pound blitzing blue. Robert's Rangers, red and white pencil poppers, and chrome creek chub poppers seem to work the best in my experience though.
