NOPE, to answer yer question!!
it takes 30# to begin to be large, and
i have a very small window for "big".
just a common and easier amount than say 35#+
as the benchmark for Large; because if you do make 35#
the cut off, then it throws everything off from a tenpound
classification system perspective.
however, in the interest of compromise and reasonable discussion,
if we were to agree on BIG as being from 25# to 35#, LAHHHGE from 35# to 50#,
TROPHY from 50# to 78.8#, IGFA from 78.9# to 95#, and MONSTAH from 95#+,
then that does allow for some more wiggle room at the bottom
and it enhances the middle and the top, as well.
simple and clean, and a little more inclusive..................
00# to 24# ~~ rats/dinks/schoolies
25# to 35# ~~ Biggs
35# to 50# ~~ Lahhhge
50# to 78# ~~ Trophy
79# to 95# ~~ IGFA
95# to ???? ~~ Monstah
and i would agree with Nebe, that anything over 50#,
is a Fish of Lifetime. very interesting opinions and thoughts, gents.
