Heading to the cape for fishing and festivities. Are there any good places to catch the fireworks. IT will be the first 4th down there for me not just fishing. Ive watched the fireworks while drifting eels but need a bit better view.

Well fishing has slowed here in Jersey so I'm painting the basement door. And working on new lights for the back porch. That's what I get for putting it off all spring.

Yahhd work, house work, work work, fire works, and throwing some plugs and eels in a hopefully quiet place at some ungodly hour. I'll be staying the hell out of Hummarock. Last year I thought I could fish there on this 4th of July weekend. HAHHAHAHAHAHAAHA. 1000 drunk kids later... 1 sickly looking schoolie for all my efforts and a nice key job on my car. At least the fireworks were amazing...

Message from Basic Patrick
I have four days of full on fish til I drop plans...some with the honey and some without...It was all supposed to begin with a Thursday night commando raid upon the Backside and end up in Buzzards Bay on Mondya afternooon.
I read flap's Mung thread however it was too late to cancel as I had made plans to cruise CG Beach for the last of the incoming get my large and come home for a short nap and dawn patrol with the honey...long story cut short...the mung was there but fishable at most places...unfortunately no, none, zero signs of life...only action we had was my friend burying the truck to the frame and the two plus hors to dig it out....arrrgh!!!!!!!
Let's see now, It took me three plus hours to get home and now with minimal sleep it is noon, I missed Dawn Patrol and question remains...what should I do now!!!!...Oh Wendy...back that truck up to the skiff!!!!!
