I'd think the blank would be covered. I'd expect you will have to pay someone to re-wrap it. You might want to look at the SSU1201MH blank as well. A bit slower than the 1205 but faster than the 1201m. Casts VERY well in the 2-4oz range and handles fish in bad terrain nicely. The 1205 built conventional is still my favorite rod (the SSU I built is a spinner ). Fortunately, I'm too decrepit to break one casting.

I have both, and they are my favorite sticks...

Wow Numby good call. I agree with you 100 percent. Next thing you know you'll be buying octopus hooks and elvers.

Will be building an SSU120MH soon for myself. Still fishing a conventional 1205 with a 229 newell on it. Levelwinds of any kind are for girls and non athletes.
